Berlin HEMA Cup 2025
Review of the Berlin HEMA Cup 2025

Our Vision
An International Tournament
We aim to establish the Berlin HEMA Cup as an international tournament that attracts fencers from as many countries as possible. It should serve as a platform where athletes from different disciplines can meet and engage under fair conditions.
Equal Opportunities for Women and Minorities
A key aspect of our vision is ensuring equal opportunities for women and minorities. With dedicated Women+ categories, fair slot allocation, and equal visibility, we’re creating structures that give everyone the same chance to prove themselves in competition.

Rankings and HEMA Ratings
We support the DDHF Rangliste as well as HEMA Ratings because they provide a long-term and transparent way to evaluate performance. Our goal is to help establish comparable standards not only across Germany but internationally — raising both the level and visibility of the sport.
Community
Beyond the competitive aspect, building and nurturing the HEMA community is a core priority. The Berlin HEMA Cup is an opportunity to make new connections and strengthen existing friendships — both on and off the fencing floor.
Thank You to Everyone Involved
A huge thank you to all participants, referees, and volunteers — without you, this tournament would not have been possible. We’re also grateful to our sponsors for their support.
