Berlin Duelling Days 2026
Berlin Duelling Days This Time with a Team Tournament

Twerchhau’s sabre section is hosting the Berlin Duelling Days for the fourth time in 2026. Two days dedicated to historical sabre fencing, tournament bouts and, of course, plenty of free fencing.
On Saturday, there will be two sabre tournaments, an Open category and a Women+ category. Fencing starts at 9:00 and the tournament programme will finish by 18:00 at the latest.
The tournaments will use a historical ruleset based on the fencing rules of Gustav Arlow and Luigi Barbasetti. Alongside the tournaments, there will be plenty of time and space for free fencing.
You can find the full ruleset here.
Registration opens on 29 August at 17:00.
On Sunday, the event continues from 10:00 with a team tournament.
The second day will be a little more relaxed, with plenty of time for free fencing and socialising with fellow fencers.
The event takes place in the sports hall of the Röntgen School in Berlin. The entrance to the hall is located around the other side of the block, at Bouchéstraße 76. Look for the gate leading into the courtyard, which unfortunately does not have a house number of its own.
